The Bill Elimination on Sexual Violence: Importance for Indonesian Women

This paper aims to find out understand the importance of bill in improving quality life Indonesian women, as well vision, mission, and direction President Joko Widodo 2019-2024. research was conducted by using juridical empirical method, looking at problems community, then looks for legal basis expert opinion, is processed triangulation method. The results showed that increasing cases regarding various types violence against women places cause government needs make a regulation needed eliminate sexual through bill. Hence, Bill on Elimination Sexual Violence urgently Indonesia. findings also noted previous regulations have not sufficiently regulated form protection violence. main conclusion study government's responsibility ensure fulfillment these rights: right handle, protection, recovery.
